Job description

Responsibilities

• BIM modeling and CAD drafting and detailing for C&S discipline.
• Work under the direction of Design Engineer and BIM and CAD Job Captain.
• Ensure construction documents accuracy based on the updated BIM Models of other disciplines.
• Collaborate and coordinate with other disciplines’ design changes and model challenges.
• Adhere to Project BIM Execution Plan and BIM project workflow criteria.
• Follow organization BIM content standards and development procedures.
• Take the lead on developing discipline specific BIM modeling content for the project.
• Print drawing sets for the professional team and participate in discipline reviews.
• Prepare own discipline model and/or content for BIM Coordination Meetings.
• Export DWF and other formats for collaboration internally and externally.
• Maintain a high level of communication and good writing skills.

Qualifications

• Well-versed and knowledgeable on BIM platform such as Autodesk Revit.
• Well-versed in AutoCAD for drafting, detailing, drawing linkage and clean up.
• Knowledgeable in Design Review platform such as Autodesk Navisworks for collaboration with professional staff.
• General understanding of interoperability between software used to accomplish own discipline tasks.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
