Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Senior Lead Analyst, Business Intelligence to drive data quality, governance, and insights across global Sales, Marketing, Proposals, and Lifecycle Services. You will steward CRM data, own reporting, and partner with cross-functional teams to turn questions into actionable metrics.

You combine analytical rigor with attention to detail, translate business needs into dashboards and reports, and manage priorities in a distributed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
• 2-4 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Reporting, Sales Operations, CRM Administration, Data Quality Management, or related functions.
• Intermediate proficiency in Power BI and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience working with CRM systems and business databases.
• Experience in data analysis, reporting, business insights, and data quality management.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a global environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sales opportunities, projects, and proposal data to ensure reporting accuracy and completeness.
• Manage CRM records and coordinate updates with sales teams and business stakeholders.
• Own proposal and sales opportunity movement reporting, including stage progression, aging, conversion trends, and data quality monitoring.
• Support the Projects Reference Library through data collection, validation, and monthly refresh activities.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Proposal, and Operations teams to improve data completeness, visibility, and reporting accuracy.
• Develop reports, scorecards, executive summaries, and business insights that support decision-making.
• Identify reporting gaps, data quality issues, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Document business processes, data collection procedures, reporting standards, and operating guidelines to support continuous improvement initiatives.
