Job summary

AboitizPower is seeking a Project Development Lead to drive Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects from concept to execution-ready status in Pasig. You will coordinate engineering, finance, market, and regulatory teams to deliver bankable assets, manage stakeholders, and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.

This role demands strong leadership, risk management, and technical-bid evaluation expertise.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Management required.
7–10 years of professional experience in project development, engineering management, or energy infrastructure.
Experience in power generation or energy storage is a plus.

Responsibilities

Translate strategic directions into actionable parameters for the Technical Working Group (TWG) and manage the Consolidated Action Log.
Define FEED, MFS, and ORD for ESS and BOP; conduct site due diligence; oversee tender evaluations.
Develop and refine financial assumptions (CAPEX/OPEX, spend curves, WESM) and support IC presentations.
Track market opportunities, validate price forecasts, and align project parameters with macro forecasting models.
Oversee vendor contracts during development and ensure alignment with project pricing and milestones.
Coordinate regulatory compliance and stakeholder engagement with NGCP, DOE, ERC, EMB, and LGU entities.
