Job summary

Coins.ph is seeking a Backend Senior Manager to shape the technical strategy for its core backend systems, including trading and settlement platforms. You will lead architecture decisions, guide a senior engineering team, and ensure scalable, secure delivery that aligns with regulatory requirements.

You will drive the lifecycle of backend systems from design through deployment and ongoing improvement, coordinating with product, DevOps, and data teams to maintain high availability and performance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years backend development and management experience.
• Proficient in Java, Go, Python, or Node.js with distributed systems.
• Strong architecture design for high concurrency and availability.
• Familiar with CI/CD, containerization, and monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of digital asset security and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Formulate backend strategy, roadmap, and architecture.
• Lead lifecycle from design to deployment and maintenance.
• Oversee core modules: trading, settlement, user management, risk, API gateway.
• Ensure security, compliance, and disaster recovery planning.
• Collaborate with Product, DevOps, Data teams and external partners.
