vdBA SecureOps is building a security-led managed services practice for life sciences clients in the Philippines. The Senior Systems Engineer / Solutions Architect will be the senior technical resource on the delivery team, handling escalations, designing Microsoft-centric, security-hardened environments, and building automation tooling to scale the service.

Qualifications

Must come from a scaled MSP with multi-client experience.
Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 administration and architecture.
Strong security background: IAM, endpoint security, CA, and best practices.
Proficient scripting, especially PowerShell.
Interest in automation and AI agents (Claude).
Proven escalation point for service desks or support teams.
Experience designing client solutions including scoping and documentation.

Responsibilities

Serve as Tier 3 escalation point for the service desk across infra, cloud, and security.
Mentor Tier 1/2 technicians; create runbooks and docs to raise capability.
Own root-cause analysis for high-impact incidents.
Design end-to-end solutions for Microsoft 365, Azure, identity/security, networking, and endpoint management.
Collaborate with sales/leadership to scope engagements, contribute to proposals, and estimate effort.
Lead onboarding and migrations to the managed environment.
Maintain architecture standards and reference designs for the team.
