Job summary

MediCard Phils., Inc. is seeking an Azure Cloud Architect to design and implement scalable, secure cloud solutions in Microsoft Azure.

You will drive architecture decisions, ensure interoperability across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, and collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud services into applications. The role requires strong Azure service expertise, IaC experience (ARM, Terraform, Bicep), and a focus on cost optimization and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Architect with a focus on Azure.
• Strong understanding of cloud concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Proficiency in Azure services listed above and IaC tools.
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical planning, architecture development and modification of specifications.
• Develop specifications for new IT products, applications and services.
• Assess compatibility and integration of IT products to ensure a cohesive architecture.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, high-performance Azure cloud solutions.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud services into applications.
• Maintain cloud architecture documentation and best practices.
• Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, and security.
• Provide technical guidance to internal teams and clients.
• Conduct regular assessments and audits of cloud environments for compliance.
• Stay updated with Azure features to improve solutions.
• Manage and update Azure Cloud Landing Zone.
