Job summary

EPAM Systems seeks a Senior DevOps Cloud Engineer to build a reliable, automated Azure cloud platform that balances service stability with fast delivery. You will design delivery pipelines, deploy and monitor services, improve resiliency through incident learnings, and support secure onboarding for clients.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary DevOps team and implement best practices for security, cost controls, and operational runbooks while documenting platform capabilities and procedures.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Azure DevOps experience for CI/CD and automated deployments.
• 3+ years of Azure cloud engineering experience across IaaS and PaaS services.
• Strong leadership and ownership within a DevOps team.
• Proven ability to balance reliability, speed, cost and security.
• Strong IaC skills with ARM/Bicep and YAML; Terraform exposure.
• Strong Azure networking and site reliability engineering knowledge.
• Excellent documentation and communication for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Azure delivery pipelines to enable safe, repeatable releases.
• Build and deploy cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for build and operational tasks.
• Operate and monitor cloud services using Azure-native observability and security tooling.
• Respond to incidents, analyze root causes, and apply learnings to improve resilience.
• Support client onboarding to the platform and provide ongoing technical guidance.
• Implement network platform operations to maintain secure connectivity.
• Document platform capabilities and procedures in team wikis.
