Job summary

EPAM Systems seeks a Senior DevOps Cloud Engineer to build a reliable, automated Azure cloud platform that balances service stability with fast delivery. You will design delivery pipelines, deploy and monitor services, improve resiliency through incident learnings, and support secure onboarding for clients.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary DevOps team and implement best practices for security, cost controls, and operational runbooks while documenting platform capabilities and procedures.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Azure DevOps experience for CI/CD and automated deployments.
• 3+ years of Azure cloud engineering experience across IaaS and PaaS services.
• Strong leadership and ownership within a DevOps team.
• Proven ability to balance reliability, speed, cost and security.
• Strong IaC skills with ARM/Bicep and YAML; Terraform exposure.
• Strong Azure networking and site reliability engineering knowledge.
• Excellent documentation and communication for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Implement and execute network platform operations to maintain secure connectivity
• Enforce security and cost controls across deployed services and new solutions
• Document platform capabilities, operational procedures, and product descriptions in team wikis
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary DevOps team to deliver and run shared services end to end

Requirements

• 3+ years of Azure DevOps experience for CI/CD and automated deployments
• 3+ years of Azure cloud engineering experience across IaaS and PaaS services
• Strong leadership skills to take ownership of development and operational work within a DevOps team
• Proven project delivery experience balancing reliability, speed, cost, and security constraints
• Strong Infrastructure as Code skills with ARM/Bicep and YAML, plus Terraform exposure
• Strong Azure networking knowledge including subnets, NSGs, routing, firewalls, DNS, and load balancing
• Strong site reliability engineering knowledge focused on automation, resilience, and systemic thinking
• Strong monitoring and operations skills with Azure-native tooling such as Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
• Strong documentation skills for operational runbooks and platform/product descriptions
• Strong communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong collaboration skills with a team-player mindset and constructive feedback habits
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2)

• Agile delivery experience in engineering teams
