Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd seeks a Senior Advanced Software Engineer to design and own cloud-native services in an Azure-first environment. You will shape technical direction, build scalable solutions, and manage the full software lifecycle while collaborating with product owners and data engineers.

You will drive AI tooling adoption (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) and mentor engineers in a distributed team, ensuring robust, secure, and scalable deployments across global operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in CS/Software/IT or related field.
• 10+ years of professional software development experience in production environments.
• Deep hands-on experience with C#/.NET and cloud-native Azure solutions.
• Experience designing and building third-party integrations and owning lifecycle.
• Proficiency with AI tooling such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor.
• Strong ownership mindset, analytical, proactive, and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Design and build cloud-native apps and services on Azure and Dynamics 365.
• Support AI tool adoption like Claude Code and GitHub Copilot.
• Define architecture decisions and technical direction.
• Own end-to-end services: design, develop, test, deploy, monitor, and maintain.
• Collaborate with business teams and product owners.
• Work with Data Engineering to enable analytics-focused solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices.
• Own Azure DevOps, GitHub tooling, and environments.
