Job summary

EPAM Systems in Spain is seeking a Senior Azure Engineer to design, implement and manage Azure-based cloud environments for global projects. This remote role focuses on migration, automation, and CI/CD practices to deliver scalable and secure infrastructure.

You will collaborate with development teams to optimize performance, reduce operational overhead, and ensure cloud governance. Excellent Azure experience and strong scripting skills are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience configuring and troubleshooting Azure production systems.
• Hands-on with Azure: VMs, App Service, Databases, AKS.
• Strong Azure networking knowledge (VNet, ExpressRoute, CDN, etc.).
• Experience with CI/CD using Azure DevOps or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for applications.
• Design and maintain Azure environments for security and scalability.
• Lead workload migration to Azure and performance tuning.
• Implement IaC and release automation.
• Provide guidance to development teams on CI/CD and IaC.
• Set up monitoring frameworks and optimize resources.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, PowerShell or Bash.
• Manage full release processes and deployments.
