Job summary

Devopsroles in Manila is seeking a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to shape and evolve a global CI/CD platform. You will partner with engineering teams to build secure, scalable pipelines using IaC, automation, and modern DevOps practices.

The role focuses on platform standards, improved developer experience, and efficient software delivery across cloud environments, with collaboration across global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years hands-on AWS with IaC using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience designing and supporting CI/CD platforms with Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Strong Python skills for tooling, plus Docker/ECR and basic Kubernetes.
• Experience integrating security, quality, and compliance controls.
• Observability experience with OpenTelemetry or similar.
• Excellent cross-team communication and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
• Develop and support Jenkins shared libraries, templates, and reusable deployment patterns.
• Support migration of legacy pipelines to standardized CI/CD approaches with documentation.
• Integrate automated security, quality, and compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines.
• Build Python-based tooling to enhance platform capabilities and developer experience.
• Collaborate with application teams to design CI/CD flows aligned with standards.
• Provide operational support for pipelines and platform components, including incident support.
• Mentor team members and contribute to continuous improvement.
