Job summary

RELX International is seeking a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to shape a global CI/CD platform. You will partner with engineering teams to build secure, scalable delivery pipelines using IaC, automation, and modern DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on AWS and IaC with Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
• Designing and supporting CI/CD platforms with Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Strong Python skills for tooling and automation.
• Container deployment practices with Docker, ECR, and Kubernetes.
• Security, quality, and compliance integration into pipelines.
• Observability improvements using OpenTelemetry.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
• Develop and support Jenkins shared libraries, pipeline templates, and reusable deployment patterns.

• Integrate automated security, quality, and compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines and improve observability using tools such as Open Telemetry

• Collaborate with application teams to design CI/CD flows aligned with platform standards
• Provide operational support for pipelines and platform components, including critical incident support when needed

Requirements

• Atleast a bachelor’s degree
• Hands-on experience with AWS and infrastructure as code using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation (Atleast 3 years)
• Strong experience designing and supporting CI/CD platforms, with expertise in Jenkins (or Github Actions) and modernizing pipelines
• Strong Python skills, including building reusable tooling and automation and have a good understanding of container and deployment practices such as Docker, ECR, GitOps, and blue/green deployments. Knows python coding and testing practices
• Experience integrating security, quality, and compliance controls into engineering workflows
• Experience improving observability using Open Telemetry or similar monitoring practices
• Strong troubleshooting skills with experience supporting platform and pipeline issues, including critical incidents
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills, with experience working across global teams
• Practical experience using AI tools in engineering workflows to improve productivity and delivery outcomes
• Experience with GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOps, and exposure to Kubernetes including troubleshooting in containerized environments
• Ability to quickly learn and apply enterprise AI tools and technologies to support technical workflows and business objectives
