Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer with a deep expertise in AWS and cost optimization to join our global team. You will drive data-driven cost analytics, build dashboards, and partner with engineering to implement cost-saving strategies across large AWS environments.

You will collaborate with multi-national teams, leverage Kubernetes/EKS, and use tools like Terraform, GitHub, Jenkins, and CloudHealth to deliver measurable ROI and improved cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional AWS cloud experience including cost reporting at scale.
• Experience with AWS EKS and containerization.
• Proficiency with cost management tools: AWS Cost Explorer, Cost & Usage Report, AWS Budgets, CloudHealth.
• Experience with GitHub, Jenkins, and Terraform for automation and infra management.
• Proven ability to create cost optimization dashboards and reports for engineering teams.
• Strong communication and ability to work independently across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software and engineering teams to identify opportunities maximizing ROI on cloud resources.
• Understand client product, architecture and cloud deployment costs; analyze cost per component.
• Advise on architecture and resource optimization, waste reduction and KPI development.
• Monitor cloud spending for anomalies and identify root causes.
• Track utilization of reservations and savings plans; reallocate capacity as needed.
• Build and maintain cost and utilization reports, dashboards, and automated alerts.
