Job summary

Ascendion is looking for an experienced Automation Tester to join our growing team in Manila, supporting Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance portfolios. This role will be responsible for developing and executing automated tests, validating applications across multiple platforms, and ensuring high-quality releases in a fast-paced environment.

You'll work with modern testing tools and CI/CD practices, contributing to test strategy, defect management, and SDLC adherence while collaborating

Qualifications

• 3–5 years or more of relevant experience in Automation Testing.
• Hands-on experience with Python, Tosca, Playwright, or Salesforce Cloud.
• Experience in REST API testing, mobile testing, integration testing, and database testing.
• Familiarity with Appium, Postman, Newman, Jenkins, Git, JMeter/LoadRunner, and Dynatrace.
• Experience working with CI/CD and automated test execution.

Job description

Ascendion is looking for an experienced Automation Tester to join our growing team and support Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) portfolios. This role will be responsible for developing and executing automated tests, validating applications across multiple platforms, and ensuring high-quality releases in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years or more of relevant experience in Automation Testing.

• Hands‑on experience with at least one of the following: Python, Tosca, Playwright, or Salesforce Cloud.

• Experience in REST API testing, mobile testing, integration testing, and database testing.

• Familiarity with Appium, Postman, Newman, Jenkins, Git, JMeter/LoadRunner, and Dynatrace.

• Experience working with CI/CD and automated test execution.

• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test automation frameworks, defect management, and SDLC/STLC.

• Experience in BFSI, banking, financial services, or insurance projects is highly preferred.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

• Leadership or team lead experience is a plus.

• ASAP joiners are preferred, but candidates with a 30-day notice period may also be considered.
