Job summary

Rising Tide Digital, Inc. is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated tests for UI, API, and integration testing. The role emphasizes UiPath-based automation to improve efficiency and coverage, plus building scalable test frameworks and CI/CD integration.

You will work with developers, QA, and product teams to ensure quality across releases, performing data-driven testing, API checks, and thorough defect analysis while staying aligned with Agile practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2–3 years of professional experience in Automation Testing, Software Testing, or Quality Assurance.
• Hands-on experience with UiPath, particularly in test automation or automating repetitive testing activities.
• Experience designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts.
• Experience with automation testing tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium/WebDriver, or similar tools is an advantage.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Python, or C#.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes, including test planning, regression, smoke, sanity, data-driven, risk-based, and root-cause analysis.
• Experience with API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and test automation integration using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and sprint-based development environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and continuously improve automation and QA practices.

Responsibilities

• Track, document, and report test results, defects, test coverage, and other relevant quality metrics.
• Ensure adherence to best practices, standards, and guidelines in test automation and software quality assurance.
• Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and provide technical guidance to the internal QA team on automation tools, frameworks, and best practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, test strategies, test design, and automation practices.
