Job summary

Asurion seeks a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to oversee automation strategy across applications. You will design and maintain scalable automation frameworks, build new automated test suites, and lead QA efforts with mentoring across the team.

Collaboration with developers and project managers to diagnose issues and drive improvements is expected. Qualifications include a CS degree with 5+ years in software testing, Java automation, AWS experience, and AI-assisted QA tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS with 5+ years in software test engineering.
• 4+ years creating data-driven automation tests in Java.
• Experience automating tests on AWS environments.
• Proficiency with AI-assisted QA tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain a scalable automation framework.
• Design and develop new automated test suites for relevant projects.
• Define and standardize testing iterations and regression testing.
• Become a product SME for all owned applications.
• Collaborate with delivery team to diagnose problems and propose solutions.
• Own defect tracking and follow up.
• Own and manage automation metrics such as usage and pass/fail rates.
• Mentor and coach other QA engineers.
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and requirements gathering.
