Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care Solutions Services in the Philippines seeks an Automation Specialist to identify manual workarounds and opportunities for automation across Global ICs functions.

You will partner with Governance, Strategy & Transformation, Operational Excellence, and Global IT Strategy & Testing to translate business needs into clear functional specifications and help implement end-to-end automation using Workiva and related enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in process automation, digital transformation, or a related field.
• Strong ability to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience working with Workiva and enterprise systems such as SAP S/4HANA, Workday, Anaplan, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of system integrations, workflow automation, and process optimization methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across business and technical teams.
• Experience supporting testing activities, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset with a passion for driving operational efficiency and innovation.
• Experience in internal controls, governance, risk, compliance, or finance-related processes is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Identify manual workarounds and highly manual processes across Global ICs functions and evaluate opportunities for automation.
• Partner with stakeholders across Governance, Strategy & Transformation, Operational Excellence, Global Business Process Testing, and Global IT Strategy & Testing to understand business needs and automation opportunities.
• Act as the primary liaison between the Global ICs organization and Automation teams, translating business requirements into clear functional specifications.
• Support the enhancement and automation of processes within the Workiva platform.
• Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Workiva and enterprise systems such as SAP S/4HANA, Workday, Anaplan, and other business applications.
• Manage and prioritize the automation opportunity pipeline, monitor project status, and track realized business benefits and efficiency improvements.
• Document existing processes, future-state automated workflows, and business requirements to support development, testing, and implementation activities.
• Provide expertise on SAP reports and transaction codes relevant to ICs and automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with IT, Operational Excellence, and other Global ICs teams to validate automation solutions, participate in testing activities, and support successful deployment.
• Support ongoing ICs operational activities, including Workiva and GRC maintenance, lifecycle management, and reporting activities as needed.
