Emapta Global is seeking a Senior Auditor to lead audit planning and execution, strengthen client relationships, and ensure compliance with established standards. This role offers permanent WFH with global opportunities and professional development through Emapta Academy.

The Senior Auditor will mentor the team, manage audit engagement timelines, and contribute to business growth while working with a prestigious client base across Australia and New Zealand.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Pursuing CA/CPA/CISA or equivalent is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant audit or assurance experience.

Qualifications

Education and certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field based on individual specialization
• Having commenced a CA, CPA, CISA, or equivalent certification is an advantage

Practical experience

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant audit or assurance experience
• Demonstrated experience adhering to established processes and procedures
• Proven ability to collaborate with others to achieve shared goals and outcomes

Technical skills

• Competent MS Office skills, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Competent use of YG

Key Responsibilities

Client relationships

• Proactively communicate with clients and develop a detailed understanding of their business needs
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with existing clients and key contacts

Audit operations and compliance

• Plan audit engagements by identifying risks, determining audit strategies, agreeing on timelines, scheduling resources, and negotiating fees
• Resolve Manager and Partner review points in a timely manner
• Deliver audit engagements within agreed deadlines and budgets, escalating variances to Engagement Managers and Partners as required
• Complete audit files in accordance with established audit methodology
• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements

Business growth

• Identify opportunities to expand services and add value to existing client engagements
• Participate in industry and business activities that enhance brand visibility and attract new clients

People leadership

• Provide coaching and support to develop team capability and performance
• Delegate work effectively and establish clear expectations for completion
• Review team members' work to ensure appropriate auditing and accounting standards are applied
• Lead by example and promote collaboration, accountability, and positive team performance
