Qualifications

• Bachelor/Commerce degree with accounting major and CPA qualification.
• At least 4 years of external audit experience in Philippines, Big Four preferred.
• Experience leading audit teams, mentoring staff and coordinating engagements.

Responsibilities

• Identify and address technical accounting and audit issues.
• Review financial statements for compliance with Accounting Standards and prepare reports and management opinions.
• Review audit work and summarize key engagement areas for the partner.
• Conduct simultaneous audit engagements with multiple team members.
• Manage and coordinate audit teams, ensuring effective training, mentoring, and compliance with audit methodologies.
• Monitor staffing requirements and resource planning.

Qualifications

• Business or Commerce degree with a major in Accounting
• CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification
• At least 4 years of external audit experience, ideally at the Senior Auditor, Assistant Audit Manager, or similar level within a Big Four or comparable audit firm in the Philippines
• Proven end-to-end external audit experience, including planning, fieldwork, review, completion, and reporting
• Strong experience managing and supervising audit team members, including work allocation, review, coaching, and performance support
• Working knowledge of the Corporations Act, Australian Accounting Standards, Australian Auditing Standards, and other applicable legislation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and internal stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and sound judgmentAbility to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment
