Job summary

ConnectOS is looking for an experienced Accountant to join our offshore team, providing financial statements, tax returns, and compliance work for Australian clients from the Philippines. You will collaborate with Assistant Managers, Managers, and Directors in a client-focused environment.

The role requires 4+ years in Australian Public Practice, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in Xero and MYOB. We offer WFH, equipment, and benefits as part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Australian Public Practice.
• Strong knowledge of Australian accounting principles and taxation laws.
• Proficient with Xero and MYOB; experience with BGL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and tax returns for various entities including individuals, sole traders, companies, trusts, partnerships, deceased estates, and SMSFs.
• Prepare IAS and BAS and complete Australian tax compliance requirements.
• Review financial information and ensure accuracy and compliance; liaise with clients and regulators as needed.
