Job summary

Impetus Corporate Advisory Pte. Ltd. is seeking a motivated professional to join its Restructuring & Insolvency team. The role offers exposure to a broad range of engagements across industries and challenging scenarios.

You will work with senior team members on financial analysis, investigations and stakeholder management to address distressed business issues. This role helps develop technical and advisory skills in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• A degree in Accountancy or professional accounting qualifications recognised by ISCA.
• Minimum 2–3 years of insolvency/restructuring experience and/or external audit; associate level possible for fewer years.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with good attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret financial information and identify key issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Good interpersonal skills and confidence to engage with clients and advisers.
• Collaborative team player with a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day matters on restructuring and insolvency engagements under guidance of senior team members.
• Analysing financial information and financial position of companies, including building financial models.
• Reconstructing and reviewing accounting records, including when information is incomplete or complex.
• Performing investigative work to identify transactions and support potential recoveries for insolvent estates.
• Liaising with directors, creditors, stakeholders, clients and advisers.
• Preparing correspondence, reports, presentations and engagement documentation.
• Participating in client and stakeholder meetings and following up on actions.
• Attending to statutory, regulatory and compliance requirements in insolvency appointments.
• Supporting senior team members on other restructuring and advisory matters.
