D&V Philippines Outsourcing, Inc. invites applications for a Senior Associate (NZL) to manage bank reconciliations, AP/AR, intercompany, fixed assets, and VAT compliance in a hybrid Manila-based role.

You’ll use Xero, ensure accurate month-end close, and support finance leadership with timely reporting. Ideal candidates have a degree in accounting and strong attention to detail, with experience across UK, NZ, or US accounting practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Experience with bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and month-end close.
• Familiarity with intercompany accounting and inventory management is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices (UK, NZ, US).
• Proficient in using accounting software such as Xero.
• Understanding of VAT regulations and tax compliance requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy; excellent organization and time management.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Bank reconciliation and confirmation of uncoded transactions in Xero via statement line report.
• Supplier invoice processing: review, approvals, and GL coding; weekly status of invoices awaiting approval.
• Accounts Receivable management: monitor overdue AR and follow up with management.
• Accounts Payable management: monitor overdue AP and process payments.
• Intercompany reconciliation: record and reconcile balances monthly.
• Fixed asset management: record, monitor assets, prepayments, depreciation, and amortization.
• Management fee calculation during month-end.
• Loan interest tracking and recording.
• Freight expense provisions: record monthly provisions and adjust prior month.
• Tax compliance: assist with quarterly VAT returns and corporate income tax.
• Accounts email management: monitor inbox and address queries promptly.
• Ad hoc accounting tasks as requested by the client.
