Job Summary

The role shall support construction management team and handles TL/SS and NGCP works QA/QC.

Responsibilities

• HSSE management: follow Project Company's HSSE performance in coordination with site HSE Manager to analyze periodically EPC Contractors implementation of HSSE management.
• Carry out inspection and check for all quality-related procedures in the construction of the HV Facility and ensure activity at the site are as per approved method statement and inspection test plan.
• Accountable for the quality and workmanship of every activity related to the substation, transmission line, secondary control and protection system, AC/DC system, and grounding installation.
• Must have knowledge of substation and transmission line installation and commissioning.
• Supervise the effective implementation of tests procedure, inspection schedules and ensure adherence to all procedures and coordinate with various teams to perform quality check and audit on processes.
• Review the quality of all materials at the manufacturing site and construction side to ensure compliance with project technical specification.
• Management of punch list items and ensure timely and effective rectification works.
• Maintain knowledge on QAQC standards and monitor continuous application for all quality assurance processes and recommend corrective actions for substation, transmission line, AC/DC cabling and EBOP related works.
• Verify contractor and supplier quality requirements are specified during contractor documentation submittals.
• Responsible for QA/QC documents of the complete project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered, and other important QA/QC documents.
• Maintain knowledge database of all quality standards related to electrical engineering works and ensure compliance to all quality manuals and procedures and collaborate with contractors and suppliers.
• Review design requirements, plans and specifications for constructability and risk management; plan, coordinate with contractors and review TL routing/survey campaigns.
• Prepare and review reports, proposals, BOQ and cost estimates for EBOP related activities.
• Attend meetings with clients, consultants and EPC contractors to coordinate and supervise various TL/SS design activities; manage substation, transmission line pole/tower, EPC contractors/designers as the case may be, including necessary workshops, and proper 3rd party review to ensure suitable designs in accordance with company interests.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• More than 5 years in substation and transmission line construction.
• Thorough understanding of PEC, IEEE/IEC substation and transmission line standards.
• Proficiency with computer software (i.e. AutoCAD, etc.) is desirable.
• Experience on construction QA/QC is a plus.
• Willing to be relocated on site.
