Job summary

Proseso Consulting in Daet, Philippines, is seeking a Senior Associate to lead key client accounts and guide Associates in a busy, tech-enabled accounting environment.

You will manage monthly close processes, ensure compliance with internal policies, oversee journal entries, payroll, AP/AR, and tax filings, while strengthening client relationships and delivering accurate outputs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• Experience supervising staff or reviewing work is advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proficiency with cloud accounting tools and standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall outputs and client relationships for assigned key accounts.
• Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and client requirements.
• Review work performed by Associates and provide guidance and support.
• Supervise day-to-day accounting activities of the assigned team.
• Manage general ledgers using cloud accounting tools (including Odoo).
• Oversee journal entries, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and fixed assets.
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
• Review bank reconciliations and financial reports prior to submission.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of tax filings in compliance with BIR and statutory agencies.
• Coordinate with management on complex issues and client requirements.

As an Associate, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial outputs and maintaining strong client relationships within a collaborative, tech-enabled environment.

As a Senior Associate, you will handle key client accounts and play a leadership role within the team. You will be responsible for the quality and timeliness of deliverables, managing client relationships, and guiding Associates in their day-to-day work. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who can balance technical accounting work, coordination, and team support.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Experience supervising or reviewing staff work is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Reliable, professional, and capable of handling key client relationships
