MicroSourcing is seeking a Senior Associate, Client Accounting in a hybrid setup at BGC, Taguig City. The role focuses on preparing management accounts for diverse clients, including funds and leasing entities, and delivering compliant financial statements.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accounting or Finance, with professional designation a plus, and strong Excel skills. You will train junior staff and ensure deadlines are met while maintaining data integrity and regulatory

Responsabilités

• Prepare management accounts for various clients (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or annual).
• Prepare annual financial statements per IFRS, US GAAP, Irish or UK GAAP.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual regulatory reporting/filings.
• Provide timely and accurate status updates to ensure deadlines are met.
• Provide coaching and training to junior staff.
• Comply with legal, regulatory and internal risk management requirements.
• Escalate business issues to relevant management personnel.
• Maintain proprietary systems with accurate data.
• Respond to internal stakeholder queries promptly and professionally.
• Develop effective working relationships with internal stakeholders.
• Display a strong team focus and willingness to assist other team members.
• Ad-hoc projects, including reporting, as required.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Associate, Client Accounting, you will:

• Prepare management accounts (e.g., monthly, quarterly, semi‑annual or annual accounts) for various clients such as investment funds, holding companies, aircraft leasing entities and structured finance vehicles.
• Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards including IFRS, US GAAP, Irish or UK GAAP.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual regulatory reporting/filings.
• Provide timely and accurate status updates to ensure deadlines are met.
• Provide coaching and training to junior staff.
• Act in accordance with legal, regulatory and internal risk management requirements, including complying with all policies and procedures and internal guidance notes.
• Escalate any business issues to relevant management personnel.
• Ensure proprietary systems are maintained with accurate data.
• Respond to internal stakeholder queries promptly, accurately and with a high degree of professionalism.
• Develop effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and other relevant parties, responding promptly and professionally to requests.
• Display a strong team focus and willingness to assist other team members when required.
• Ad‑hoc projects, including reporting, as required.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Accounting or Finance.
• Professional accounting designation is a plus.

Preferred Skills/Expertise

• Ability to handle work/client deliverables with tight deadlines.
• Good Excel skills such as SUMIFS, VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables; experience in Power Query is a plus.
• Ability to learn new software and adapt quickly to new processes.
• A team player with good time management skills, positive thinking and willingness to learn.
• High attention to detail when handling large volumes of financial information.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written English.
