First Datacorp in Makati City is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to prepare, record, and maintain accurate financial records in compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.

The role supports month-end and year-end closing, ensures timely financial reporting, and collaborates across teams to safeguard data integrity. Onsite Monday to Friday with potential overtime to meet deadlines.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Financial Management, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience in general accounting, financial reporting, bookkeeping, or tax compliance.
• Understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations (e.g., PFRS).
• Knowledge of GL functions, reconciliations, and month/year-end closing processes.
• Familiarity with accounting software, financial systems, and reporting tools.
• Understanding of Philippine tax laws, compliance requirements, and regulatory filings.

Job Description:

Prepare, record, and maintain accurate financial records in compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations. Ensure the timely preparation of financial reports, proper documentation of transactions, and the integrity of accounting data. Support month-end and year-end closing activities while ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Financial Management, or a related field.
• 1 to 2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in general accounting, financial reporting, bookkeeping, or tax compliance.
• Understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations (e.g., PFRS).
• Working knowledge of general ledger functions, account reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
• Familiarity with accounting software, financial systems, and reporting tools.
• Understanding of Philippine tax laws, compliance requirements, and regulatory filings.
