Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is hiring for an Assembly Line Sustaining Technician in Laguna, Philippines.

You will ensure production equipment runs reliably, perform machine setup and repairs, and adhere to quality policies while supporting continuous improvement initiatives on the line. You will collaborate with operators and engineers, monitor PM/calibration schedules, and contribute to safety and housekeeping efforts.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience as Assembly Line Sustaining Technician.
Experience with equipment used in QFN, TQFP and SOIC package assembly.
Knowledge of machines for Backgrind, Wafer Saw, DA, WB, molding, plating, Pick & Place, TNR, Wafer Probe, Marking and Packing.
Familiar with TS16949 and HSPM quality systems.
Familiar with failure analysis techniques.
Ability to manage workload in a team environment.
Proficient with MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

Comply with company's quality policy and code of conduct.
Provide daily or shift report to Equipment Engineer.
Machine setup, repair, and ensure equipment is operational for production.
Ensure PM and Calibration requirements are updated.
Collaborate with operators and engineering to resolve quality issues.
Update downtime and uptime reports via PPMS and R7/R8/R11 systems; participate in AM-PM and 5S programs.
Maintain good housekeeping inside the production line and maintenance rooms.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
