Microchip Technology Inc. in Laguna, Philippines, is seeking an equipment maintenance engineer to own the maintenance and calibration of production equipment in line with manufacturer specifications.

You will oversee line support and machine performance while collaborating with process engineers to optimize operations. The role requires a BS degree in a technical field (EE/ECE/ME/CoE/IT Manufacturing Eng preferred) and 2–5 years of experience.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering or technical field; EE/ECE/ME/CoE/IT Manufacturing Eng preferred
• 2–5 years of working experience in manufacturing/maintenance
• Capable to lead and coach people
• Knowledgeable in MS Office
• Strong analytical and oral/written communications skills
• Experience with MSA, SPC, Control Plan, OEE, MTBF/MTBA/AMPM
• FMEA, TPM, Project Management understanding
• Able to work extended hours and shifting schedule
• Internal: Completed EDL requirements per job grade

Responsabilités

• Learn and implement equipment maintenance standards; establish PM strategies and protocols
• Disassemble, repair and reassemble equipment per manuals and schematics
• Oversee service calls on production equipment or instruments
• Collaborate with process engineers to understand equipment interactions
• Analyze machine utilization data and drive improvements
• Lead and coach personnel to ensure efficient operations
• Engage with suppliers on equipment needs (tools, jigs, conversion kits)
• Complete P0 Leading Teams Sessions 1–6
• Complete Situational Self-Leadership
