Job summary

Outsourcey in the Philippines seeks an experienced architectural designer to support Australian projects. You will review design development and documentation, ensuring compliance with Australian standards while coordinating with the Design Manager and project teams remotely.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in architectural design, 2–3 years in senior or lead roles, and a licensed or licensure-pursuing architect.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years in architectural design with 2-3 years in senior/project leadership on Australian projects.
• Licensed architect or in process of licensure.
• Strong knowledge of Australian building codes and standards.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp; MS Project a plus.
• Experience managing multiple Australian projects remotely.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with Australian clients.
• Detail-oriented with compliance to Australian regulations.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Design Development: Review and track design progress and completeness for each project.
• Technical Documentation: Review drawings, specifications, and construction documents using CAD/BIM for Australian standards.
• Project Management: Create and track Design Programs and oversee Cobild processes with project teams.
• Team Collaboration: Coordinate with Design Manager, designers, engineers, and consultants to ensure quality documentation.
• Remote Coordination: Use Zoom/Microsoft Teams to communicate with Australia-based team members and clients.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure designs meet high standards and Australian regulations.
