Job summary

Insight Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Financial Services Rep II to manage a portfolio of client AR and act as the main contact between the client and Insight finance. The role involves contacting delinquent accounts by phone, email, and mail, and recording payment promises.

The candidate will maintain detailed status records, coordinate with sales teams, and, with manager approval, implement holds or interruptions on future orders, ensuring adherence to SLA targets and departmental standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years previous global collections experience is required.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business/professional journals, technical procedures, or regulations.
• Ability to write basic reports and business correspondence.
• Must possess the ability to effectively present information and communicate, both orally and in written form, with clients and fellow Insight teammates.
• Must possess basic knowledge of Collection laws and procedures.
• Ability to develop rapport with client AP contacts and respective sales teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of client Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Mail/fax system generated letters to encourage payment of delinquent accounts.
• Contact delinquent accounts by phone, fax or email.
• Confer with clients to determine reason for overdue payment and review terms.
• Keep detailed records of ongoing collection efforts.
• Record amounts promised to be paid into client accounts.
• Provide AR with payment information (check/wire/ACH).
• Update Collections Management with status reports on top delinquent accounts.
• Order service interruption/credit hold on future orders after manager approval.
• Sort and file correspondence.
• Process Legal, Third Party Collections and Bankruptcy paperwork as directed.
