Job summary

Insight Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Financial Services Representative in Pasig for managing client AR and collections in a hybrid work setup.

The role involves serving as the primary liaison between clients and Insight’s finance team, with progression opportunities within the company. You will handle delinquent accounts, communicate via phone/email, and maintain accurate records while aligning with Sales and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Two years' collections experience required.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents and procedures.
• Ability to write basic reports and business correspondence.
• Effective oral and written communication with clients and teammates.
• Knowledge of collection laws and procedures.
• Ability to develop rapport with client AP contacts and sales teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of client AR.
• Mail/fax system generated letters to encourage payment.
• Contact delinquent accounts by phone, fax, or email.
• Determine reasons for overdue payments and review terms.
• Record payment information and promises; update status in systems.
• Notify Sales Rep of contact or payment difficulties.
• Provide AR with payment application details.
• Update Collections Management with status on top delinquent accounts.
• Order service interruption/credit hold after consulting manager.
• Sort and file correspondence.
• Handle legal, third-party collections, and bankruptcy paperwork as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

About the role

The Financial Services Representative is responsible for the effective resolution of client AR within an assigned portfolio of accounts. Be the subject matter expert supporting key complex clients within a strategic portfolio. While also fulfilling responsibilities of an FSR. Incumbents will serve as the primary point of contact between client and Insight finance department. This position will report to the Manager Financial Services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage an assigned portfolio of client AR
• Mail/fax system generated form letters to clients to encourage payment of delinquent accounts
• Contact delinquent accounts by phone, fax, or email
• Confer with clients by telephone in attempt to determine reason for overdue payment, reviewing terms of sales, service, or credit contract
• Keep detailed record/status of their ongoing collection effortsReceive payment information from clients and record amounts promised to be paid into client's account
• Notify Sales Rep if they experience any difficulties in contacting the client or securing payment on the past due amounts
• Provide Accounts Receivable with check/wire/ACH application information
• Update Collections Management with status reports on top delinquent accounts
• After consultation with their manager, order service interruption/credit hold on future orders
• Sort and file correspondence
• After consultation with their manager, processes Legal, Third-Party Collections and Bankruptcy paperwork and submit to their manager
• Other duties as assigned

What we’re looking for

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), college degree preferred
• Two years previous collections experience required and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business/professional journals, technical procedures, or regulations
• Ability to write basic reports and business correspondence
• Must possess the ability to effectively present information and communicate, both orally and in written form, with clients and fellow Insight teammates
• Must possess basic knowledge of Collection laws and procedures
• Ability to develop rapport with client AP contacts and respective sales teams. This Representative's portfolio is primarily made up of larger clients. These clients require a more experienced collector who can perform their daily tasks with minimal supervision. Resolution to issues is generally more complex and requires good problem-solving skills
• Must be able to complete assigned tasks in a specified time frame
• Must be able to effectively communicate with clients and fellow Insight teammates
• Must meet SLA's (Service Level Agreements) with sales and clients
• Must maintain their portfolio balances at or below predetermined departmental standards
