Job description

Lead infrastructure testing and help establish Aeven's testing capability in the Philippines.

We are looking for a senior test manager who can independently lead complex infrastructure testing and help teams deliver changes safely into operation. You will join our PH team and work within global T&T, collaborating with colleagues in Denmark and the Czech Republic.

About the role

Your initial focus will be infrastructure testing for a new Aeven cloud platform. You will work with project and program managers, architects, infrastructure engineers, operations teams and customers to define what must be tested and provide clear evidence of readiness. The role covers infrastructure and operational acceptance testing; application testing is outside its scope.

You will take ownership following a focused handover, drawing on existing infrastructure testing experience. Alongside delivery, you will help establish consistent methods, reporting and reusable test assets across our global team.

What you will do

• Agree test scope, responsibilities and acceptance criteria with customers and project teams, translating contractual and technical requirements into testable outcomes.
• Develop practical test strategies and plans covering effort, resources, dependencies, environments, risks and entry and exit criteria.
• Create and review test scenarios and ensure detailed test cases are prepared with infrastructure specialists, including normal operation, failure, recovery and migration scenarios.
• Lead end-to-end infrastructure service testing, infrastructure integration testing and operational acceptance testing across the relevant technology domains.
• Coordinate test environments, access, test data, execution windows and specialist resources. Ensure execution owners are clear and agreed tests are completed.
• Drive defect triage, remediation follow-up and retesting; elevate gaps and risks early and maintain traceability between requirements, cases, results and defects.
• Publish test progress, results and readiness recommendations that support informed acceptance and go-live decisions by the accountable stakeholders.
• Lead structured knowledge transfer from existing specialists, document dependencies and validate readiness to assume responsibility through practical demonstrations.
• Standardize useful templates, tools and reusable test cases with global colleagues. Identify repeatable infrastructure checks suitable for automation and support knowledge sharing.

You will initially help secure continuity on a new Aeven cloud platform project while building lasting internal testing expertise in PH. Success means reliable test delivery, transparent readiness evidence and working practices that colleagues across locations can use and develop.

Your experience includes

• Proven senior-level ownership of infrastructure test delivery, including test strategy, planning, execution coordination, defect management and acceptance reporting.
• The ability to work independently after a focused handover, with sufficient technical understanding to challenge test coverage and coordinate specialists effectively.
• Experience converting infrastructure designs, migrations and contractual requirements into test cases and measurable acceptance criteria.
• Experience coordinating multiple technical teams and stakeholders, including delivery across locations and knowledge transfer between teams or suppliers.
• Practical experience with test-management and defect-tracking tools, clear documentation and reusable test assets.
• Professional fluency in English and the ability to explain technical risks and decisions clearly to English speaking technical and business stakeholders.

You must be able to plan, assess and coordinate testing across the following areas:

• Backup and restore: successful recovery, data integrity and agreed recovery objectives.
• Networks: connectivity, routing, name resolution, access controls and resilience.
• Middleware: platform configuration, availability and infrastructure service dependencies.
• Active Directory: authentication, authorization, policies and directory dependencies.
• Storage: availability, access, capacity, performance and resilience.
• Hybrid cloud: connectivity, identity and dependencies across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Monitoring: coverage, alert generation, escalation and operational response.
• Infrastructure migrations: readiness, cutover validation, rollback and post-migration checks.
• ITSM processes: operational readiness and relevant incident, change, configuration and service handover workflows.

We welcome experienced test managers from broader backgrounds who can demonstrate this infrastructure capability. You should be able to lead and challenge testing across these areas, working with domain engineers for specialist execution.
