Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd in the Philippines is seeking an experienced API-focused Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain backend services using .NET Core. You will work on microservices, RESTful APIs, and integration patterns to support enterprise-scale applications.

Responsibilities include API security with OAuth 2.0, CI/CD, Postman testing, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable solutions. Leadership of an API Development Squad may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or related field.
• Proven experience in Project Management, System Analysis, and System Design for enterprise applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with .NET Development, MS SQL, API Development, and API Gateway technologies.
• Experience leading and mentoring an API Development Team.
• Proficient in Postman, CI/CD Pipelines, Quality Assurance, and resolving production issues.
• Ability to design scalable, secure API architectures and integration solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain APIs and backend apps with .NET Core.
• Build microservices and integration patterns for enterprise apps.
• Develop secure RESTful APIs with scalable performance.
• Implement API security using OAuth 2.0 and API gateways.
• Create API architecture documentation and perform API testing with Postman.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
• Lead code reviews and ensure compliance with standards.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide root-cause analyses.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide technical guidance to the API Development Squad.
• Lead technical activities and identify performance improvements.
