Job summary

AECOM Global Business Services - Philippines ROHQ is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to manage day-to-day ANZ payroll processing and support junior team members with guidance and expertise. This role ensures compliance with local regulations, policies, and SOX controls while delivering accurate payroll data to stakeholders.

You will lead complex tasks, generate reports, implement process improvements, and stay current with legislative changes affecting payroll in the ANZ region.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in Finance or Accounting.
• Solid experience in processing ANZ region payroll.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools.
• Advanced knowledge of HR processes and procedures.
• High-volume/high-headcount payroll processing experience.
• Solid experience with Payroll Systems (Oracle/Workday).
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex payroll activities for the ANZ region in compliance with procedures and methodologies.
• Handle taxation, statutory obligations, and document management for payroll.
• Lead updates to processes to reflect changes in legislation and regional requirements.
• Provide guidance to junior team members on queries and process exceptions.
• Develop reports, analyses, and presentations for periodic and ad hoc needs.
• Contribute to process improvement and audit readiness activities.
• Maintain SOP/DTP documentation related to payroll processes.
