Job summary

Ixigo is seeking an experienced Android developer to join a young, multicultural team building a cutting edge travel consumer-facing product. You will contribute to design, planning, development and deployment of native Android apps, working with product managers to deliver features end-to-end.

The role requires strong Android SDK knowledge, Kotlin/Java proficiency, and a focus on performance, security and robust architecture.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• 3–5 years of mobile app development experience.
• Experience with Android SDK, Java, Kotlin and design patterns.
• Experience with e-commerce or travel apps is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, release, and maintain native Android applications.
• Oversee mobile application development efforts across the full app lifecycle.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to plan and release products.
• Safeguard sensitive data and report security incidents per ISMS policies.
• Fix bugs and improve application performance.
• Continuously adopt new technologies to improve development efficiency.
• Stay up to date with mobile tech trends and optimize app performance.
