Job summary

LMF Group of Companies is seeking a Mid-Level Android Developer to design, build, and maintain native Android apps using Kotlin and Java. You will collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver scalable mobile experiences across devices.

You will optimize performance, write clean, testable code, and stay current with Android trends. Strong RESTful API knowledge and MVVM/MVI patterns are essential. Experience with ExoPlayer and DI frameworks is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 3+ years of professional native Android development experience.
• Proficient in Kotlin and Java.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Jetpack libraries, and fragmentation handling across versions.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and networking libraries (Retrofit, OkHttp).
• Familiarity with MVVM/MVI architecture, and mobile app lifecycle concepts.
• Git experience and dependency injection (Hilt/Dagger) is a plus.
• Bonus: video streaming protocols (HLS/DASH) and ExoPlayer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable native Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, and backend teams.
• Profile and optimize performance, memory usage, and responsiveness.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
• Identify and resolve technical bottlenecks and crashes.
• Stay up-to-date with Android SDK trends and best practices.
