Job summary

Questronix Corporation is seeking a skilled Android Developer to design and build cutting-edge native applications for Android using Kotlin. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the development of high-quality applications that meet business needs and standards.

The applicant must have a minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in Android development, strong knowledge of Android SDK, and familiarity with MVVM and Clean Architecture principles. This position requires working onsite in Ortigas, Pasig, and engaging with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in native Android application development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and the Android SDK.
• Experience with Android Jetpack components such as ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation, Room, and WorkManager.
• Understanding of MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Android application lifecycle.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs, JSON, and backend services into Android applications.
• Proficient in Android Studio, Gradle, Git, and version control workflows.
• Experience with local data storage technologies such as Room, SQLite, or DataStore.
• Familiar with dependency injection frameworks such as Hilt or Dagger.
• Knowledge of application security, performance optimization, debugging, and memory management.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and mobile application deployment through the Google Play Console.

• Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin based on business and technical requirements.
• Build responsive, secure, and high-performance mobile applications following Android development standards and best practices.
• Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs, backend services, and third-party SDKs to support business functionality.
• Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve bugs to ensure application stability and reliability.
• Implement modern Android architecture components, reusable modules, and maintainable code following MVVM or Clean Architecture principles.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and application publishing activities while ensuring compliance with coding standards and security guidelines.
• Monitor application performance, provide production support, and continuously enhance existing mobile applications.
