Job summary

Dexcom Corporation seeks a senior Android engineer to design and build Android applications using Kotlin. You will implement app features, update design documents, and continuously adopt new technologies to improve development efficiency.

You will collaborate with QA to ensure high-quality products, develop automated tests, and participate in code reviews with leadership. Strong Agile experience and SDK development knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years native Android app development experience with Kotlin.
• Minimum 8 years of professional software development experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Android applications for the Android platform.
• Implement requirements on Android apps and update design docs.
• continuously discover and implement new technologies to improve efficiency.
• Interface with software test to ensure high quality product.
• Develop automated unit and integration tests.
• Participate in design, code and test reviews; provide technical leadership.
• Propose enhancements to apps to improve sustainability.
