Job summary

Cambridge University Press & Assessment in Manila is seeking a Senior AI Software Developer to design, build and scale responsible AI and Generative AI solutions that deliver measurable business value.

You will own end-to-end AI pipelines, including data prep, model selection, deployment, monitoring and improved patterns such as RAG, embeddings and vector search, while upholding secure, scalable AI engineering standards within a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates advanced proficiency in designing, building and deploying AI or machine learning solutions in production environments.
• Exhibits advanced expertise in Python, AI/ML libraries, SDKs and API integrations.
• Demonstrates strong capability in implementing Generative AI solutions, including RAG, embeddings, vector search and model evaluation approaches.
• Shows proven expertise in designing secure, scalable AI services and integrating them with enterprise applications and data sources.
• Exhibits strong technical leadership, analytical thinking and stakeholder management skills to translate business needs into effective AI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of AI-driven solutions using large language models, multimodal models and other Generative AI technologies to solve real‑world business challenges.
• Own the end-to-end technical design of AI pipelines, including data preparation, model selection, deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement.
• Design and implement advanced AI solution patterns including prompt engineering, retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG), embeddings and vector search.
• Establish and maintain secure, scalable and reliable AI engineering standards, including API integration, automated testing, CI/CD and operational documentation.
• Provide technical leadership through architecture reviews, code reviews, mentoring and collaboration with cross‑functional stakeholders to integrate AI into products and services
