A Perth, Australia-based Building brokerage is building a custom CRM from the ground up to run sales, client, and commission workflows. They are setting up a Cebu office and looking for a Senior AI Software Engineer to lead this build - someone who can architect a fast, modern system independently and set the technical direction for a small, growing team. This is a ground-up build, not a customization job, with real ownership over the stack, the architecture, and how the product evolves.

Key responsibilities

Architect and build a custom CRM from scratch - client and deal management, commission tracking, role-based permissions, and workflow automation for a mortgage broking business

Use AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) to build and ship quickly without cutting corners on quality

Design the data model and system architecture to support future features (lead routing, reporting, integrations with tools like GoHighLevel and Twilio)

Mentor and review the work of a mid-level/junior engineer joining the same team

Work directly with the business owner in Australia to translate real business rules into a working system

About you

Strong full-stack engineering background (you pick the stack - care is taken about the outcome: fast, reliable, maintainable)

Genuine hands-on experience using AI coding tools to accelerate real development work, not just talking about AI

Experience architecting a system from zero - database design, API design, auth/permissions, deployment

Comfortable working autonomously and making technical calls with minimal oversight

Based in or willing to relocate to Cebu, Philippines

Nice to have: experience with CRMs, real estate/mortgage/finance industry software, or GoHighLevel

Ground-floor role shaping a product from day one, not maintaining someone else's legacy code

Cebu office-based, full-time role
