Job summary

FindJobIT is hiring a Senior AI Engineer to build production-grade AI agent systems for a US tax technology company. You’ll own AI services end‑to‑end, deploying on AWS and integrating with backend services, frontends and internal tools. The role is 100% remote from LATAM and full-time contracting.

You’ll design agentic workflows, develop Python APIs, ensure security and reliability, and collaborate with frontend teams to bring AI agents into user-facing experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering.
• Hands-on LLM development experience with production systems.
• Proven track record deploying AI agents or agentic workflows.
• Experience with MCP servers, tool calling or function calling.
• Strong Python and AWS deployment skills.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Terraform or similar IaC.
• C1 English or higher.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and optimize AI-driven systems and agentic workflows.
• Develop MCP servers or tool-calling layers for safe backend interaction.
• Create AI services and APIs with Python and FastAPI.
• Deploy and scale applications on AWS (Bedrock, ECS, Lambda, CloudWatch).
• Implement security, guardrails and prompt-injection mitigation for sensitive data.
• Improve reliability, latency and maintainability of production LLM services.
• Collaborate with frontend teams (React) to integrate AI agents into product experiences.
• Ship through CI/CD with GitHub Actions, Docker and Terraform.
• Communicate trade-offs and architectural decisions to stakeholders.
