Job summary

Ernst & Young Advisory Services Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Data Scientist with 8-11 years of data science and ML experience. The role emphasizes NLP, generative AI, LLMs, MLOps, and AI solution architecture across enterprise use cases.

The ideal candidate will design and implement AI models, integrate with Azure OpenAI and Hugging Face, and drive end-to-end AI pipelines while ensuring privacy and security considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD is a plus.
• 8-11 years of experience in Data Science and Machine Learning.
• Strong knowledge of ML, DL, and generative AI techniques.
• Proficiency in Python, R, and frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Expertise in NLP and Transformer models.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) and deploying AI in the cloud.
• Data curation, cleaning, and preprocessing expertise.
• Knowledge of trusted AI practices for fairness and accountability.
• Strong collaboration with software engineering and ops teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design and implementation of state-of-the-art AI solutions.
• Develop and deploy AI models using LLMs and generative AI techniques.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define AI project goals.
• Evaluate latest generative AI approaches and assess enterprise applications.
• Use APIs and libraries (Azure OpenAI, Hugging Face) to enhance capabilities.
• Build end-to-end pipelines for generative AI projects.
• Utilize vector databases and NoSQL to handle large-scale data.
• Implement and optimize similarity search for information retrieval.
• Work with domain experts to tailor AI solutions to business needs.
• Establish evaluation metrics for AI outputs and ensure data privacy and security.
