Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to own and shape a data management framework for finance analytics. You will collaborate with operations and technology teams to build end-to-end AI/ML solutions, including NLP and RAG-based capabilities, and drive scalable, production-ready models on AWS/Azure.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in data science, analytics, or statistical modelling roles.
• Strong foundation in data analytics, NLP, predictive modelling, LLMs, and RAG workflows.
• Expertise in Python and core ML/DL libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) with productionizing AI models.
• Experience with Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and data management tools.

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision for an industry-leading data management framework and workflows.
• Support Lead Data Scientist on end-to-end AI/ML lifecycle from problem definition to deployment.
• Define an optimized user experience for financial analytics data pipelines.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with engineering, analytics and business leaders.
• Develop and deploy production-grade AI models and data-driven solutions aligned with strategic objectives.
