Job summary

PM Consulting is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Associate to manage end-to-end AP operations in a global services context. You will process invoices, approve payments, and reconcile supplier accounts while supporting month-end close and financial reporting.

The role emphasizes strong AP expertise, ERP system know-how (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite), and adherence to internal controls. Collaboration across Finance and Procurement is essential for P2P efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–4 years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably in a shared services/global environment.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end P2P and AP processes.
• Hands-on with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial data analysis.
• Knowledge of local and international tax requirements (VAT, withholding).
• Experience with AP automation tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices, credit notes, and payment requests with policy compliance.
• Coordinate and execute vendor payments via wire, ACH, and checks.
• Perform vendor account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist month-end and year-end closing for AP and financial reporting.
• Monitor payables aging and drive timely resolution of issues.
• Maintain vendor master data and ensure ERP data integrity.
• Ensure SOX/compliance with internal controls where applicable.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Treasury, and Finance for efficient P2P ops.
• Provide support for audits and internal/external documentation.
• Identify and implement process-improvement opportunities through automation.
