Job summary

Fleet Management Training Institute Philippines, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to lead the AP function, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant vendor payments, crew claims, and other disbursements.

You will manage daily operations, strengthen internal controls, and coach a high-performing team. You will collaborate with internal partners and external stakeholders, drive process improvements, and ensure regulatory compliance, including BIR, while maintaining strong vendor

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
• At least 5 years in Accounts Payable with leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of AP processes, controls, and compliance (BIR).
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Excel.
• Shipping industry exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end AP cycle, including invoice validation, posting, and payment processing.
• Lead daily payable operations ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Support month-end and year-end close with reconciliations for payables.
• Collaborate with internal/external partners (FPD, HK Finance, Auditors) to ensure smooth operations.
• Drive process improvements and automation in AP.
