Job summary

Fleet Management Training Institute PH, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to support end-to-end accounts payable processes for suppliers, employees, and seafarers.

Responsibilities include invoice and payment processing, vendor and crew data maintenance in Oracle, and reconciliation activities. The role requires a degree in accounting or finance, at least 2 years of related experience, and proficiency with ERP/financial software.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Finance related fields is required.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and financial software is expected.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English is essential.

Responsibilities

• Verify and process supplier, employee and crew payments accurately and timely.
• Maintain vendor and crew master data; ensure accreditation and registration in Oracle.
• Respond to vendor, employee and crew queries professionally and promptly.
• Support month-end closing activities (accruals, DA reports, ageing and payment status analyses).
• Prepare and file required BIR tax returns (VAT, Income Tax, Withholding Taxes, DST).
• Maintain filing of invoices, payment vouchers and supporting documents.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve issues.
• Support internal and external audit requests with necessary documentation.
• Comply with internal controls to minimize errors and unauthorized transactions.
• Contribute to process improvements and assist with ad hoc tasks.
