Job summary

ELSAL Ventures OPC is seeking a meticulous General Accountant to manage comprehensive accounting records under Philippine standards. The role includes journal entries, accruals, closing processes, and maintaining the General Ledger with proper documentation.

The position also covers tax filing, regulatory compliance, and assisting in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, with support for audits and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Proficient in accounting records and standards.
• Experience with journal entries, accruals, and closing processes.
• Strong reconciliation and audit support abilities.
• Regulatory compliance knowledge and documentation management.
• Ability to assist in monthly/quarterly/annual financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete accounting records aligned with company policy and regulatory standards.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, adjustments, and closing entries.
• Maintain General Ledger and ensure transactions are well documented.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations of bank accounts and intercompany items.
• Investigate discrepancies and resolve reconciling items promptly.
• Prepare audit schedules and liaise with internal/external auditors.
