Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA preferred, though non-CPA with strong experience may be considered.
• 3–5 years accounting experience with supervisory or team-lead exposure.
• Experience in retail, distribution, warehouse or multi-branch operations is advantageous.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting systems/software.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounting activities and ensure transactions are documented.
• Review journal entries, schedules, and records for accuracy.
• Monitor income, expenses, assets, liabilities and other transactions.
• Assist in month-end and year-end close.
• Supervise AP: invoices, billings, and payment requests.
• Verify invoices against POs, receiving docs and contracts.
• Monitor payment schedules and ensure timely processing.
• Review outstanding payables and coordinate discrepancies.
• Monitor AR: receivables and collections.
• Review aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Investigate discrepancies between billings and collections.
• Coordinate with Operations and Sales on unresolved receivables.
• Review and monitor bank reconciliations.
• Investigate reconciling items and discrepancies.
• Reconcile major balance sheet accounts.
• Coordinate with Warehouse/Operations on inventory records.
• Review inventory transactions and reconciliations.
• Support management in evaluating inventory losses.
• Review expenses and disbursements for proper support and approvals.
• Prepare periodic financial reports and statements.
• Assist in regulatory tax reporting and compliance.
