Job summary

Exact Star Subic Bay Corporation in the Philippines is seeking an experienced accounting professional with strong knowledge of US GAAP, accounting operations, and financial reporting to support our US-based management team.

You will provide accounting guidance and support on financial reporting matters, manage rebate accounting and revenue recognition, independently handle audits, and oversee cash flow, monthly closes, AP/AR for US transactions.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced accounting professional with strong knowledge of US GAAP, accounting operations, and financial reporting to support our US-based management team.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

• Clear and understandable English accent, as the role requires daily interaction with the C-Suite team.

• Strong experience and knowledge of US GAAP accounting.

• Experience in rebate accounting oversight and revenue recognition, particularly rebates based on contingency percentages.

• Ability to independently handle and respond to audits with minimal supervision.

• Strong experience in accounting operations, financial reporting, and providing financial guidance.

• Experience with Oracle NetSuite is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with Rippling Accounting and Ramp Accounting Software is an advantage.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide accounting guidance and support to the US management team regarding accounting and financial reporting matters.

• Manage rebate accounting and revenue recognition processes.

• Independently handle audit requirements and respond to audit inquiries.

• Manage cash flow and cash cycle activities.

• Perform monthly book closing activities.

• Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Support financial reporting and accounting operations involving US-based transactions only.
