Job summary

HERB FOOD SOLUTIONS INC. in the Philippines is seeking an experienced accounting leader to manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.

The role centers on GAAP-compliant reporting, month-end close, internal controls, and collaboration with leadership on budgets and forecasts. CPA/CMA is strongly preferred; 5–7+ years in accounting with at least 2 years in supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a highly relevant business discipline.
• CPA or CMA designation strongly preferred.
• 5 to 7+ years of progressive professional accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management capacity.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) and deep familiarity with ERP systems.
• Thorough understanding of GAAP and corporate tax guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll functions.
• Prepare, analyze, and distribute accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
• Supervise month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals, bank reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Establish, monitor, and enforce internal accounting controls and policies to protect company assets.
• Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors and ensure prompt gathering of compliance data.
• Collaborate with leadership to assemble annual operating budgets, forecasts, and capital allocation models.
• Hire, train, mentor, and evaluate junior accounting staff, optimizing departmental workflow and efficiency.
